INVITATION FOR THE WORKSHOP ON IMMIGRATION LAW FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
Workshop will be held on 28-29 of May 2015 at the Institute of Public Affairs from 11.00 am to 2.30 pm. at Szpitalna 5/22 street in Warsaw. Participation in workshop is free of charge and reimbursement of the travel expenses for people outside the Warsaw will be available. Please find attached detailed schedule of the workshop.
The aim of the workshop is to provide participants with knowledge on basic principles and procedures of the immigration law in Poland. Participants of the workshop will learn more about their legal situation in Poland, the complexities and characteristics of Polish law and administrative procedures in which they participate (eg. obtaining the residence card etc.). During the workshop, the lawyers-trainers will also answer individual questions from the participants regarding, among others, their legal status and plans for staying in Poland.
Thematic scope of the workshop:
- Legalization of stay (visas & residence permits: requirements, procedures etc.)
- PESEL number, basic rules of administrative procedures
- Working in Poland (legality of work, labour code rules, non-discrimination principle)
- Business in Poland (Including types of entrepreneurships, eligibility, procedures)
